September 2023: Noya
Noya has been coming to the golf course her entire life. A Siberian Husky/Shepherd mix, she was adopted at 4 months old and spent her first 5 years in Colorado. Here she would spend her days on the golf course and off time exploring the mountains. She even hiked a 14,000 ft. peak one summer. Now living in Northern Michigan in beautiful Traverse City, at just over 8 years old, she hasn’t missed a beat. She now runs around LochenHeath Golf Club every morning. She especially enjoys running through the tall grass and rolling around in the cool, wet dew.
Jordan Norville is in his second year as Golf Course Superintendent at LochenHeath Golf Club. A 2010 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Jordan has worked in many aspects of Turf Management all over the country. From major/minor league baseball fields, grass tennis courts, and golf courses. When not on the golf course, Jordan and Noya spend their days exploring the Michigan outdoors with Jordan’s wife, Molly.
