Tay is a seven-year-old Australian Cattle Dog or as many refer to her a “Blue Heeler”.
Her golf career started at Allentown Municipal Golf Club and continues at Deerwood
Country Club. She loves to run the golf course in the morning, sometimes following the
greens mower with every pass. Her duties include not only animal control for foxes and
geese but as the emotional support dog for the staff. She loves riding the course but
always enjoys spending time in the break room, especially during lunch.
She loves snowy winters even getting lost in the snow drifts but also enjoys the days off
next to a fire. Tay is part of the Deerwood family now as she is also in charge of
member relations between the grounds staff.
Chris Reverie is a Class A GCSAA member currently working his first season on the
restoration of Deerwood County Club in Mt. Holly New Jersey. The golf industry is in his
blood starting as a kid pulling rocks out of the fields of Indian Creek Golf Club in
Emmaus Pennsylvania which his grandfather built. He truly has a passion for industry
and is an advocate for the game of golf. He enjoys being active in the industry,
attending National Golf Day in Washington D.C. or taking a trip to GCSAA Headquarters
in Lawrence Kansas. He looks forward to the GCSAA Conference and Trade Show
each year to learn from his colleagues and leave feeling electrified to start off a new golf
season.
