December 2022: Bruno

Bruno is a four year old Bernese Mountain - Poodle mix. His regular duties include chasing geese, deer, and the occasional coyote. Bruno enjoys greeting members who walk their dogs on the course before the first tee, even if it’s just for the treats. He brings a lot of energy into the shop every single morning. After the morning prep, he hangs out in the shop to stay cool and nap but, once winter comes around, he would rather stay out in the cold all day.

Bruno’s owner is Blair Somerville, Senior Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Round Hill Club in Greenwich, CT. After growing up in Scotland, Blair graduated from Penn State and has moved around the northeast for a few years. He is now settled in Fairfield County, CT with wife, Ashley, and daughter, Grace.
